Warranty Policy
1. Overview
At Monarch Mobility, we are committed to providing reliable, high-quality mobility products. This warranty policy outlines the coverage provided with your product and how we support you in the unlikely event of a fault.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. Warranty Period
Warranty coverage varies depending on the product:
- Mobility Scooters, Powerchairs & Batteries: 12 months from the date of sale
- Accessories: 3 months from the date of sale
Motability Scheme
Products supplied through the Motability Scheme are covered separately and include:
- 3-year warranty and support package
3. What Is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Faulty components under normal use
- Electrical and mechanical failures
- Battery faults within the applicable warranty period
We will, at our discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace faulty parts
- Replace the product if necessary
4. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear (e.g. tyres, brake pads, upholstery)
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Improper use outside manufacturer guidelines
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Water or weather-related damage
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Natural battery degradation over time
5. Serial Number Requirement
To make a warranty claim, you must provide the product serial number.
- The serial number must be clearly identifiable
- Products without a valid serial number may not be eligible for warranty
We recommend keeping a record of your serial number and proof of purchase.
6. Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has developed a fault:
- Contact us as soon as possible
- Provide:
- Your order details
- Product serial number
- Description of the issue
- Where possible, include photos or videos
We will assess the issue and advise on the next steps.
7. Repairs & Support
- Repairs may be carried out at your home, at a service centre, or via collection
- If the issue is covered under warranty, there will be no charge for parts or labour
- If the issue is not covered, we will provide a quote before proceeding
8. Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
9. Your Legal Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK law.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty.
